Another first for Wellington from North City Indoor Raceway is the fully electronic computerized lap scoring which gives you up dated information every time a car goes over the Start / Finish line where you are coming what lap times you are doing and of course where your competitors are placed. There is also a full printout of every lap time of each team at the end of the race.

Racing starts with a grid start of up to ten drivers, one from each team. Each team member drives 10 laps then gets signaled by one of their team members, the driver then enters the pits, where the next team member awaits, that driver then gets out and the new driver takes over and completes their ten laps. Racing continues until every driver has completed their required amount of laps and returned to the pits.

At the conclusion of racing all participants will return to the lounge for the race summary and to look over the printouts and for the Prize Giving where at North City Indoor Raceway everyone's a winner.

The new and exciting format we have just adopted. You race as individuals against your friend or work colleagues. Run as separate heats (you tell us how many you want), with different grid positions in each heat. Each driver will have at least one heat with a grid position near the front one, one heat with grid position near the back and one heat with grid position in the middle of the pack. This provides everyone competing equal opportunity to win. At the end of the heats we calculate all the drivers results and we hold a final with the drivers with the best results, off the front of the grid. An excellent way to race for groups of 6 to 12 drivers.
